Microsoft Community Osijek together with Microsoft
Croatia® with support from INETA and Hupro are organizing the first regional community
conference KulenDayz 2008. Conference is bringing together leading IT Experts
from the region with local IT Community and giving them a chance to spend a
weekend filled with 18 attractive sessions presented by top speakers and
relaxing at
Kopacki Rit Nature Park and enjoying unspoiled
nature.

Conference is held at
Hotel Patria which is situated in the heart of
the beautiful region of Baranja, in Beli Manastir, 20 min. drive from Osijek, on
the main road Osijek-frontier of Hungary.

in conference are organized in 3 parallel tracks:

♦ System Infrastructure
The idea is to make a conference "a little different", so together with
traditional sessions presented in conference halls there will be a number of
unplugged Open Space/Chalk & Talk sessions presented at Gazebos in
Ethno-Village. In Open Space sessions all participants are invited to co-create
the agenda and pick the discussion topics. Chalk & Talk sessions
are "unplugged", so without PowerPoint/laptops/beamers but with good-old
flipcharts!
As a part of HEROS happen
{here} events, sessions at the KulenDayz 2008
will be mostly technically oriented, level 300+, with highligt on the new
products and technologies (Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008, Windows Server
2008, Hyper-V, ASP.NET MVC)

There is no admission fee for the conference
so entrance for all KulenDayz sessions is free for all attendees.
We have ensured all KulenDayz attendees a preferential prices for optional

Relaxation
Idea behind this conference is to make an
informal event for IT specialist where people will meet, exchange ideas, attend
attractive sessions/workshops and overall relax.
On Sunday, we will organize a half-day trip to
Kopacki Rit Nature Park where you can choose activity from
Canoeing&Biking, Hiking, Boat-trip, Birdwatching, etc.
There is a Welness center in hotel where you can enjoy in one of the welness
packages (relax, anti-stress, manager) with sauna and massage.
We plan to install two XBOX360 in chill-out area and organize Guitar Hero III:
Legends of Rock tournament.
If there is enough interest, we will organize a
fooball match Croatia vs. RestOfTheWorld or
even better: Developers vs. DBAs!
On top of that, there are plenty of places where you can sit outside and have a
beer with your friends...
